Greetings CMRU Members:

Il est temps pour le pourchain grand voyage en France  II

(It’s time for our tour to France)

The Twilighter Rugby Club are looking for a few good men (or women) to join them on their Tour de France.  If you would like to join our expedition, please contact Ray Jung at ray.jung@telus,net   Tour dates are from Nov 4 to 16.

Some highlights of the tour include:

– 2 games and hostings,

– tour of a Champagne winery,

– cruise down the Seine,

– Remembrance Day ceremony at Juno Beach and

– attendance at the France/South Africa Game.  (We’re still working on this)

Tour Costs:

It is very difficult to give you an exact amount of what the tour will cost per person.  The exchange rates, cost of airfare, and even hotel rates tend to fluctuate.  The closest estimate I can give you as of today is about $3,600 to $3,800 per person.  This does not include airfare or tickets to the France/South Africa game.  (An agent will be assisting us with the flights)   Deposits of $100 are due at the end of January.  I would suggest you pay $500 per month if your cash flow is an issue.

(this is the detail we have not planned yet as we still don’t know if the game is held on that day or before, we will know it for sure in May. If we have tickets, if the game is held on that day (15/11) etc…. If the game is held on the 13/11 or 14/11, then, it could be a tricky issue on global timing actually (Costs of this outing is not included in tour package)

Monday 16/11 : free day and pm coach transfer to PARIS CDG for catching the flight to Canada, back home.

Merci Beaucoup,

Ray
